It would be super helpful to have meshStack integrated into Backstage, so developers don’t have to jump between tools. The main goal is to let teams do self-service provisioning of new meshStack resources directly from Backstage, with all the usual meshStack guardrails still in place. On top of that, the integration should show existing projects, who has access, costs, and whether everything’s compliant. This way, developers get everything in one place and workflows get simpler.

One of my building blocks has reached end of life as we are no longer offering the service. I want to prevent new application teams from using this building block. Yet, I want to keep supporting existing users of this building block until they transition to a new service. At the moment I can only flag a BBD as "use in Landing Zones only" which has the desired effect of hiding the BBD from the marketplace, but it's a bit confusing and feels like I'm using a workaround. It would be more consistent with the way that Landing Zones and OSBs were offered on the marketplace if there was an explicit way to disable or "unpublished" a BBD.

Non-admin users do not have access to certain information that is mandatory for using the API. For example if you want to create a new tenant in a project, you need a 'fullPlatformIdentifier' and 'landingZoneIdentifier' which cannot be found in the UI.
