Canceling a terraform runs with our tfrunner will result in a locked state which will completely prevent further execution. there is no way to unlock the state other than manually running terrafrom locally. Our tfrunner does not do the same thing on abort that ctrl-c would do. many providers protect you from the state not being locked. But it can still happen that it is. I do see problems here. the abort handling does not correspond to a local abort and we cannot unlock the state via the panel.
