GCP Deployment Manager in Landing Zones

Google Cloud Deployment Manager has been deprecated by Google and will be removed from meshStack landing zone support by April 1, 2026.
No active tenants rely on this mechanism, but unused landing zones may still reference it and can be cleaned up safely.
Please migrate to Building Blocks attached to landing zones for a modern, flexible, and provider-agnostic alternative.

As previously announced, Google Cloud Deployment Manager support has been removed from meshStack in v2026.38.0 (September 16, 2026). The Template Config URL option is no longer available in landing zone configuration, and the gcpTemplateUrl field was removed from the meshLandingZone API. Existing template deployments in your GCP projects are not deleted, meshStack just no longer manages them. Your replication service account no longer needs the deploymentmanager.
